420 Stainless Steel extra strength coiled roll pin 1/8" diameter x 3/4" longÂ
After installation, pins remain flexible so they absorb shock and vibration better than slotted spring pins. Ends are beveled or rounded to aid insertion. Actual diameter is slightly larger than the diameter shown, allowing pins to fit tightly when installed. 2000 pound breaking strength is measured as double shear, which is the force required to break a pin into three pieces. All meet ASME B18.8.2.
Type 420 Stainless Steel—Stronger than 18-8 stainless steel and more corrosion resistant than steel. Minimum Rockwell hardness is C46.
Extra strength pins are thicker, making them roughly 30% stronger than their standard counterparts.
